His instruments were trumpet, guitar, voice and violin.  He authored a Music Theory and Harmony textbook. He was an instructor on all brass, woodwind and fretted instruments. Her mother, Barbara, born in the southern United States of America, was also a conductor, composer and teacher. Her instruments were voice, piano, trombone and guitar. Her two brothers, Paul and Monte, were also professional musicians. Mateus was the owner of Prosper Band School in Southern California. Mateus and Barbara met in California and founded Prosper Studios of Music and Allied Arts. Gloria Grace carries on the family tradition with her own business, ProsperMusic.
"GG" sang her first words, "mama", at the age of nine months, copying an instrumental exercise taught by her father. At the age of 3, she made her professional debut, singing the National Anthem to promote the sale of War Bonds. At 5, she began monthly guest appearances on Radio KIEV in Glendale, California, on the show "You Asked For It" sponsored by the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. At 7, she won, by audition, the lead role in "Snow White", presented at the Glendale Civic Auditorium, sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Through elementary and high school, she traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada as a vocal and piano soloist. She was sought after as a guest artist by Service Clubs, Women's Clubs, Veterans' Organizations, schools and corporate businesses. At 13, she was featured in her own Television Variety Show. While in high school, she won many awards, including Young Artists Guild and Hollywood Bowl. At 16, she was offered a contract with the San Francisco Opera Company. While in college, she was introduced to various vocal contractors in the Entertainment Industry and embarked upon an additional career as vocalist for films, television, recordings and commercials.
It was also while she was in college that she was introduced to Roger Wagner by a fellow singer and began a long association as soloist, chorister and recording artist with the Roger Wagner Chorale, the Los Angeles Master Chorale and the Wagner Chorale (directed by Roger's daughter, Jeannine), both in concert and on national and international tours.
Gloria was also introduced to Gregg Smith by a fellow singer and participated, as soloist and ensemble singer in concerts, recordings and tours with the Gregg Smith Singers. It was while she was working with Gregg Smith that she was introduced to Igor Stravinsky and Robert Craft, leading to solo work with each of them, both in concert and on recordings.
Gloria's career continued to grow as she became a sought after musical artist.

Gloria Grace praises God for the Gift of Music and uses it for His glory.
